Design Love Studio is a minority-owned architecture consultation firm based in the Midsouth Tri-State area. This firm came into existence due to a desire and drive to implement the tools and resources of Design-Thinking and Design-Doing in communities and neighborhoods that do not readily have access to such items. These are typically areas that are disinvested and ignored. It is our absolute belief that all areas can grow and thrive. Even if we have Less, we can still do More – that is especially true of our built and unbuilt environment. The perspective is not to “make do,” it is to “make it do.” We are doing this one project at a time. 

Our work expresses materiality and character of the site, the building, and – more importantly – the people.  We have a strong interest in the character of the community, in the ability to respect that which exists and to bring it into the context of the Now.  As we survive and grow and adjust to the New, so should our spaces. That is what we work to make happen with individuals and with the community as a whole.

THE INDIVIDUALS

Design Love Studio consists of a hubby and wife core team of two individuals.  Our workforce for any given project grows and shrinks according to the needs of each individual project.  We exist to match with your specific needs. 

Co-Founders:     Joyce Selina Love is currently registered in Tennessee and Arkansas as an Architect and works also in the world of Interior Design and Urban Design. Safari Love Is the Director of Operations and in-house Design Associate.  With over 20 years of experience gathered through education, secular experience, national & international travel, and connections through community and client engagement, we are ready to help you explore your imagination for what your project can be.  We are prepared to help you make your project fit your needs precisely.  We invite you to find out what we can do for you.
